Yum, yum, yum. Little bite of the James!”

Written and Directed by: Rob Burnett

Starring: Paul Rudd, Craig Roberts, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Ehle, Julia Denton, and Bobby Cannavale

It’s About: A man suffering an incredible amount of loss enrolls in a class about care-giving that changes his perspective on life.

What Drew Me to This Movie:

First, Paul Rudd. I have always loved his work since Friends (as the lovable Mike Hannigan), so gotta watch the new one. Also, Selena Gomez. I enjoyed her performance in the family movie Ramona and Beezus. Just curious what she will bring to the table this time around.

And Then:

I cannot think of any better pairing for this Netflix dramedy than Paul Rudd and Craig Roberts. Both are insanely funny and charming in their own way. Their solid genuine performances and chemistry save this movie from being a typical sappy tearjerker. Selena Gomez, meanwhile, manages to deliver an OK performance as the love interest of Craig Roberts’ character. Nothing special. Wondering which actress will suit better for the role. Any name comes to your mind?

All in All:

Recommended for those who truly enjoy dialogue driven drama. My brother leaves the room after 10 minutes only, haha!
